Our Flag

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?

And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.

Oh, say does that star spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives.
I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him.
Abraham Lincoln

What a lovely little town, and a wonderful celebration that only a small town can do.

Susan, I do not know if I came over here to reply to your question at Three Pixie Lane! Please forgive me if this is a repeat or I apologize for the late response! I saved your message, so assuming I have not replied about the red beverage dispenser seen on my 'Great Outdoors' post. I purchased it at World Market years ago. Many folks inquired about it and some are planning to find a large red stock pot and have one made! Good luck and thank you for stopping by Three Pixie Lane! Christie

Just wanted to say "thanks" for visiting my blog and commenting on my new header. It really was pretty easy using the blog tutorial (Decor & the Dog) that I mentioned in my post.
